Domain flipping profits! Xenophobia Income for Zimbabweans in South Africa

A few days after I finished my three day prayer for Zimbabweans and all foreigners in South Africa, I went surfing online. My search terms were ‘xenophobia South Africa.’ These were trying times for all non-South Africans in South Africa amidst these xenophobic attacks. People have been expressing there emotions on social media some cursing and some feeling sorry for these South Africans and praying for them that they see the true light. Whether one cursed, prayed or just watched, the one common denominator is the word xenophobia has been trending online. Simply put, it’s one of the words which was being highly searched online these past weeks.

There really isn’t something nice or romantic about the word xenophobia in a social sense. Even after titling the article xenophobia income, it does little to raise a brow to the affected families, but until you hear the numbers. Read this article to the end and you will be frizzled and frazzled by how I missed $3,800.00 in 25 minutes online. As an infopreneur, besides this madness which has been going on in South Africa, I saw an opportunity to make money. Whilst we watched the killings online, (especially the death of one Mozambiquean Mr Sithole. Hush it broke my heart) domain flippers were busy at work. Domain flippers in plain British are people who buy domains online for resale. Domain flipping, also called domain name speculation is the practice of identifying and registering or acquiring Internet domain names as an investment with the intent of selling them later for a profit. The main targets of domain name speculation are generic words which can be valuable for type-in traffic and for the dominant position they would have in any field due to their descriptive nature. That sounds too good to be true for making money in Zimbabwe. I assure you this is real. It’s a skill one has to master. I have a 5 hour course Iam teaching on flipping domains for profit. However you don’t have to attend my course to know what domain flipping is. I will give you an insight.

Let me use the analogue of a real estate investor. In simple terms, a real estate Investor buys under-valued property, refurbishes or tweaks then resale at higher values or rents them out. A domain flipper does exactly the same thing. Substitute were I said real estate investor with domain flipper and property with domain. It’s that simple? Though it sounds simple, domain flipping is an art. There are things a real estate investor look at before he or she invests in a certain property and so does a domain flipper. What then does this have to do with xenophobia and why did I even title this article xenophobic income when it’s about domain flipping? What a misnomer! Not at all!

Let me give you the basics of buying a domain. Generally a .co.zw domain should cost around $10.00 whilst an ordinary dotcom (.com) domain should cost an average of $15.00 per annum. The first day I heard about xenophobia I wasn’t anywhere near a computer with internet connection. It was only on day three that I was able to check news sites. I have been flipping domains for close to a year now and right there and then I saw an opportunity. In property Investments, property in the CBD is the gold. In domain flipping a dot com domain is the gold. I searched for the domain www.xenophobia.com but I think I was 25 minutes too late. It was gone. And the person who had beaten me to the flipping game was reselling it. Call it reselling, auctioning, domain flipping or whatever name you may phantom, the domain’s asking price is $3,800.00. I cringed. As a Zimbabwean with relatives in South Africa, I had lost the xenophobia war twice. Online auctions are sometimes unbelievable and I knew that a domain could easily fetch $50,000.00. At the point of writing this article, the domain soundboard.com was valued at $56,000.00 and the bids were still going on and on.

Now that you know what domain flipping is about, I wouldn’t want to leave you hanging and live you thinking that this all a bluff. I want you to visit this site flippa and see for yourself. This is one of the biggest domain market and domain auction, were most click business people are making the big bucks. You don’t have to know any coding to become a domain flipper or a click business person. I would guarantee you that in the build up to the Mayweather Pac fight, a lot of domains were registered which focused only on that fight and thousands of dollars were made. You could become a domain flipper too. I hope this article showed you that making money in Zimbabwe isn’t that far-fetched and you can too. And As I sign off… remember I always advocate for ‘YOUR CONTINUED SUCCESS’

    Hi

Very interesting article will give it a try. Thanks for the idea I v also been seeing other ideas they are good. It’s a pity that most Zimbabweans don’t realise the wealth that is in this country. Surfing the internet helps a lot in discovering the money we can make in Zim.

Have a pleasant day it’s good to have friends like you who are able to help us to be successful in life.
