For the past 2 years I have been receiving inquiries on how to trade forex in Zimbabwe after the initial forex trading post. I have been candid in every response. You need to invest at least 3 months learning the forex market before you start making meaningful forex trading profits. If you don’t, you will likely lose money. That is TRUE…but I didn’t tell you the whole story.

There is an easier way to start trading forex today whilst you are still learning the trading ropes. I feel so ashamed that I have known about this for a while but it never occurred to me that I can actually share it with my audience until today. I wanted you to do it the way I felt was the right way…damn I was so wrong.

I felt that many people want to dive straight into forex trading because they hear forex is the biggest trading market on earth, and possibly even on mars. However, they want to do it before they are even able to answer the following questions.

• What is Forex?
• How Do You Trade Forex?
• When Can You Trade Forex?
• How do you pick the currency pair to trade?
• What is a pip, lot size, margin?
• What are Japanese Candlesticks?

However, after you learn this method, you shouldn’t stop investing in learning how to trade forex until you have reached a point where you develop your own trading strategies. How dare I keep you waiting for this long.

The truth is you can start making money today trading forex with little to no trading knowledge.

 

Appoint a Forex Trading Manager

Those who have worked in the field of finance understand the concept of asset managers. If you have money and you want to invest on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange but you don’t know how, what do you do? If you want to buy shares of companies listed on the stock exchange but you don’t know how to do it what do you do?

 

You ask someone to do it for you!!!

 

Those people will then trade on your behalf but of course for a small fee because they were willing to invest time in understanding how the stock market works, researching each and every listed company before either buying, selling or holding that current stock or share. It’s not difficult but what else can you do if you don’t even know what EPS means and how it will impact your investment. Most of us have Unit trusts investments and they follow this simple rule. The same concept is applicable in Forex Trading and you too can do it.  The Platform I use (HotForex), they call these Asset Managers PAMM Managers.

 

Please don’t give anyone your money. I have heard a lot of people who are going about calling themselves ZimInvestors Forex Trading agents.

 

We have no such program. All investments and transfers are done within the HotForex PAMM program and they are fully controlled by HotForex automatically, ensuring that both the Investor and Forex Trading Fund Manager are protected from risk such as you as the investor disinvesting before you pay the forex trading manager his fee or the fund manager disappearing with your capital. First things first. Open a HotForex Trading Account. The requirements from Hotforex are similar to the general KYC requirements when opening your bank account which are:

 

• Copy of Identification (HotForex prefers your Passport)
• Proof of Bank Account (Country Bank Account)
• Proof of Residence

After HotForex approves your account which they do in a few days, the next stage is to pick your PAMM Manager.

Funding your HotForex Account

The Currency which I recommend is USD. The easiest way to fund your HotForex account is through a MasterCard or VISA card. Most PAMM Managers require a minimum investment of USD250.00 though there are some who accept a minimum of USD100.00. However, you will notice that managers with best returns on investments require higher initial minimum investments like USD500 to USD1000.00.
