At diamonds nail bar we pride ourselves with maintaining high nails standards. Doing nails is something that I have always wanted to do. People often comment that I have beautiful nails as I usually maintain them long. This among other things made me realise that I loved doing this and I decided to turn my hobby into a business idea. I find doing other people’s nails is not just a business but it is also therapeutic both to the client and to the nail technician. At diamonds nails bar we deliver all sorts including manicures, pedicures, nail art, acrylic nails, gel nails and hand and foot massages. Iam just going to share with you a few tips for keeping your nails and feet looking and feeling great.

To some of us its spring and that means summer is only round the corner. Even though we are not out of the woods yet that shouldn’t stop us from keeping our feet looking gorgeous. Happy feet mean clean feet and for feet to be clean they need to be maintained as such.  It’s time to show off our toe nails and bring out the sandals!  It’s good practise to visit a nail bar salon once in a while to keep your feet neat and tidy. Because we are always busy we may not find the perfect time to take care of our feet but this is very important. Soaking your feet for five minutes can really do the trick. Simple does it. Before you cover your toe nails with gels or acrylics consider painting your nails with bright coloured nail polish. This will brighten up your toe nails in the sun or on a summer’s evening. It’s time to get rid of boots and let our toe nails take centre stage!

Every woman will appreciate having beautiful hands and nails. Your hands do a lot of things and you have to make sure you’re taking good care of them. We all do different things with our hands. It is vital to keep our hands moisturised and to keep our nails looking clean and beautiful. It doesn’t have to cost a lot to keep your nails and hands looking clean. The common thing we all know to do is to wash our hands after contact with rest rooms, before and after food etc. This helps our hands to stay free from bacteria and germs as much as possible. There are also hand sanitisers for example and you can keep one in your bag or pocket, it’s handy for when there’s nowhere to wash your hands for example.

Hands and nails need to be kept looking elegant and pretty. A few things can be done to keep your hands looking beautiful. Not only does this make you feel good inside it also boosts your confidence. A few things should be noted:

• Never bite your nails – not only is this nasty; it also diminishes the growth of your nails
• Eat healthily – good nutrition is essential to keep your nails strong and healthy
• Do not use your hands as tools for example opening can tins or operating heavy machinery
• Always keep your nails dry after washing your hands, have a towel or a tissue handy to wipe your hands dry
• Use hand and nail creams frequently and always massage these into your skin. This will also help with blood circulation.
